This is the story about a smaller church with a big heart in Erwin, TN. They had been hit by Hurricane Helene earlier, but were moved to help a very rural village in Africa
Compassion for a Village in Mhondoro, Zimbabwe
Mission
Some people who have a heart for Africa learned about the village of Mhondoro which didn't have clean water. Due to the drought they were facing in Mhondoro, Zimbabwe, many were getting sick and some died of dysentery or cholera.
Vision
​The church was determined to raise the money for a long term solution. They decided a solar powered borehole well would last. Together they raised $10,502.

Cornerstone Christian Mission - Zimbabwe is dedicated to serving communities in need, and we are proud to have established a well for a village of over 250 residents who previously lacked access to clean water. This essential resource will help prevent waterborne illnesses and improve the health and well-being of the community. Join us in our mission to bring more wells, hope and healing to those in need.
